So, I had planned on making spaghetti and meatballs for dinner tonight... Opened the ground beef and got all the ingredients out and realized I had no eggs. This dish is what I ended up with. All it is is whole wheat penne pasta, ground beef, pasta sauce and an Italian blend of cheese. The reason I am choosing this as my picture of the day is because I realllly need to learn how to cook. I am not good. well, I am only good at cooking a few things. I have mastered 2 things, Spaghetti and meatballs and meatloaf, which I think are pretty darn good. I'm pretty sure John likes them too because he does ask for them on a regular basis. My meatloaf is John's mom's recipe so the fact that he asks for mine says something. It's not the typical tomatoish kind. I used to HATE meatloaf. I was very skeptical when he told me his mom was cooking us meatloaf one night. But, I fell in love. So in love, I asked for the recipe and now make it on a regular basis.
Anyway...I hope that I can look back at the end of my 365 days of pictures and see some other dishes I will know how to cook besides these things. I did get 2 new great cookbooks for Christmas!
