Ok y'all, am I the last one to find out about Picnik? How have I not found this website sooner? I love it! I have spent hours at my computer editing photos, putting reindeer ears and santa claus hats on people and even making blog title bars! Here are a few things I've put together...

We LOVE Vegas. This will be our third trip in the past 3 years... I'm glad we've already done most of the sightseeing so we don't have to rush to see and do everything. I'm sure it's going to be fabulously decorated for Christmas so we'll have to see all the hotels and how they've outdone themselves for the Holidays. But I am super excited about just getting some quality time with the boy in our AMAZING room at the Encore! There will definitely be videos/pictures posted when we get back.

Christmas Cards

Now that my Christmas cards have been sent out and hopefully received by everyone around the country, I am going to post them here for everyone to see! I had planned on all along using general Christmas cards and just signing our names in it. After more and more thought, I decided I really wanted to do picture cards. That's when I decided on my old friend Shutterfly! I order prints from Shutterfly all the time, but I had never used them for Holiday cards.
I hard a hard time finding 1 that I just fell in love with. I didn't have a lot of choices because...
1. John and I aren't married so we couldn't put "The Ryan Family"
2. I only had one good picture of us that I wanted to use since we didn't get professional pics taken
3. I wanted to put the cats pictures in it too and I couldn't find one good picture of them together!
If we would have professional pics taken and we were married, there were some super cute ones that I would have picked over the one I finally did.
These are the ones I came up with to choose from...


And this is the one we picked...

I let John make the final decision and I think this is the one I would have picked too. I liked how it says Happy Holidays and not Merry Christmas (I sent them to a few people who are Jewish.) The were matte finish and very nice quality. I will order from them again next year! Maybe I'll have professional engagement pictures to send out on the cards next year.... ;)

We aren't 21 anymore!

Saturday night we went out to Pete's Piano Bar in downtown with some friends and had a blast. I didn't get very many pictures and these clearly were taken after I had had one too many drinks! ;)

After our night on the town on Saturday and staying out till 2am, John and I realized we just can't hang anymore! I think we're gonna have to take it down a notch next time! ;)

With our trip to Vegas coming up the week before Christmas, I decided it was time to buy a new camera strap. I have been eyeing these on Etsy for awhile, but just never got around to buying one. I finally decided it was time so I wouldn't have to use that ugly, uncomfortable Nikon strap while we were walking around Vegas. So that's when I found Made by Meegz.
I was very particular in what I wanted. I wanted padding, a lens cap cover, and an actual strap, not just a strap cover. And Megan delivered...
I am extremely pleased with how it turned out! It is so much more comfortable due to the padding on the inside and I love the lens cap pocket.

Just a little bit more...

Ok, I honestly didn’t think I could fit anything else Christmas related in to my house. We don’t have a big house and I pretty much had to take all my “every day” decorations down and stash them in a closet to put all the Christmas stuff up. But, Hobby Lobby pulled me in again with a 40% off coupon and low and behold I’m out with even more stuff.

And now I really have to stop! The only thing I am considering doing is putting a lighted garland around our banister going up the stairs. But, I think that might need to wait till next year ;)
