A few weeks ago you might remember that I posted a picture of my homemade sangria I made for a Tech Watch party at our house...
Well, a lot of you wanted the recipe, so here it is!
Basically, all you need is a bottle of this Blood Orange Soda...
A bottle of this Sweet Chardonnay...
A few bags of some frozen fruit....
And walah!
The Blood Orange Soda is Central Market brand, but I bought it from HEB.
The lady at HEB was mixing it was this particular Sweet Chardonnay and I liked the taste of it, so that's why I picked that brand. It was about $8 for the bottle.
I had peaches and blueberries already frozen in the freezer so I picked that fruit, but any fruit will do. The lady at HEB actually recommended the frozen fruit because it's a good way to keep it chilled instead of adding ice and the fruit will add extra flavor.
All you do is mix the 2 bottles together and you have Sangria. If you have a large party to serve, I'd recommended doing 2 bottles of each. This pitcher made about 6-8 glasses.
It was super yummy and I think better than some sangrias I've had at a restaurant.
Give it a try!
(Linking up for Pinteresting Wednesday today too since all my pics came from Pinterest!)
