These Streets Will Make You Feel Brand New...

{and you can thank me again for having the song stuck in your head ;)}

If you haven't read my post from yesterday, go read it, now!

So only spending 2 days in one of the most amazing cities is for sure not enough. That's why I have my huge list of stuff I need to try to accomplish this time.

On my list of things to see, do, eat...

Walk the Brooklyn Bridge

This is something I wanted to do last time but with the rain taking up one whole day, it didn't happen. Hopefully it won't be too cold this time and we can enjoy a nice stroll!

Ice Skate

Breanne gave me the idea to try ice skating in Bryant Park or Central Park instead of Rockefeller Center. I know it will be crowded because of the holidays, but hopefully not near as bad as Rockefeller Center.

Radio City Rockettes

We are for sure seeing this show and will probably buy tickets this week. Lion King and Wicked are playing on Broadway as well, but how many times do you get to see the Radio City Rockettes at Christmas in NYC? As much as I'd love to see Wicked and Lion King on Broadway, those are shows I can see in Houston in our Theatre district.

Statue of Liberty

We saw the Statue of Liberty last time from a distance and spent time in Battery Park, but I've never actually ridden the boat and went out to the Island. I'd love to get to do this once.

Top of the Rock

Yes, we did this last time and we will do it again. AMAZING!!

Now let's talk about the food... One of the best things about New York! HA!

Eat NY Pizza

I want to eat at Grimaldi's under the Brooklyn Bridge. I've heard great things and we can knock it out when we do our walk ;)

Eat Rainbow and Black and White Cookies

We'll probably go back to the bakery I mentioned yesterday in Little Italy for rainbow cookies, but still need to find me a good black and white cookie :-P

Visit Crumbs

Thanks to Meg and the giveaway I won, I MUST stop at Crumbs for one (or 2) cupcakes!

UMM, can you tell I'm excited about FOOD!!??

And of course I can't forget to add that I would love to see these fabulous New Yorker bloggers while I'm there as well!

Michelle and Vicki!

So, now it's your turn.

Tell me, what are the must sees while I'm there? Where can I get the best NY Pizza? Where can I find the best black and white cookie? Where should we eat?

Basically, tell me everything you know about New York.

Can't wait to hear your suggestions!

I LOVE top of the rock... I've been to NYC twice and have gone there both times. I have also done the brooklyn bridge and highly recomend it. I know it will be freezing but the brooklyn ice cream factory (under the bridge on brooklyn side) is fantastic. Also, Buschon bakery has incredible cookies and pastries, might be a good place to find the white and black cookies!

Here is a post where I recapped some of my favorite dining spots in NYC, hope it helps!

If you can't get to Grimaldi's (so packed) do John's Pizza. They're all over the City. We did a 5 1/2 hour tour one day through OnBoard tours. It was kind of expensive, but you get to see SO much that I don't think I could have seen all of that even in the week I was there. And you get to do a water taxi that takes you right up to the Statue of Liberty. Def worth it! Crumbs was decent, but Macaron Cafe is where it's at! Oh and Junior's Cheesecake!!!! I've seen the Rockettes twice and they are a Christmas time MUST! Wicked and Lion King, I saw both on Broadway and they are great, but you can catch those on tour some time.

I love that you mentioned Carnegie Deli. We stayed right down the street from there and I just did NOT like the food! haha. :)

I would def. eat pizza in Little Italy! Such great pizza and not expensive either! I just love NYC! My mother and I took a trip there this past summer for my graduation from College! Amazing memories! :)
