Christmas Ribbon Wreath

I've seen these ribbon wreaths floating around Pinterest and I knew that I could make it.

So Wednesday I ventured to Hobby Lobby and picked up some Christmas ribbon and a styrofoam wreath and decided to try it for myself!

 {The kitties checking out all the supplies}

I honestly had no rhyme or reason to making this and didn't really follow any specific instructions.

Before I cut the ribbon in pieces I tied one piece around to find the length I wanted. I used it to measure the rest.
I bought ALOT of ribbon. And I'm even taking about 4 rolls back because I bought so much. I didn't want to cut all the ribbon up and then not need it so I used one roll at a time and just spread them out around the circle.

Then I just started tying ribbons around in random places until it was filled up...

After all the holes were filled up, I used a long piece of thick ribbon to tie a bow and hang it on the door. Don't worry, I don't have it hanging up for good yet ;)

I am so proud of how this turned out and can't wait to hang it up after Thanksgiving!!

How fun, I think this is adorable! Would you say this is cheaper than buying a wreath for my door this year? If so, I'm going to try this!

This turned out SO good! I have ribbon waiting to make one of the "bubble" ribbon wreaths, but this method looks so much less time consuming and just as cute! Consider me inspired!

Ooooh! I'm going to have to do this for sure!!! I made a ribbon mobile for my little Holden's room...this is kind of similar. Gosh, you could make one of these for every time of year...possibilities are endless! :)
