NYC - Day 1

Finally, the NYC posts!

I'm splitting these up by days because I took SO many pictures!

Wednesday we left bright and early in the morning...

I had to take a picture of poor Cotton watching us leave :( This makes me so sad!

We got to the airport about an hour or so early and this was the security line...

We were up at the front of the line when they called final boarding for our flight. I was about freak out. Actually I did have a minor melt down in the security line. We grabbed all of our stuff and John sprinted with just his suit case down to the gate and made them hold it. I in the mean time am carrying my carry on, my purse, both of our jackets and my boots and trying to run down through the airport in my socks. Yes, I got a lot of stares, but I didn't have time to wrestle with my boots so sliding in my socks was how it had to be. Luckily John made it to the gate in time and had them hold the door for me and we made it on our flight!

We arrived at our hotel around 11ish, Hilton Garden Inn Times Square and were pleased with the service and location. We were on the 14th floor and had a pretty good view!

After the proposal, we made our way to China Town for lunch at Wo Hop. Yes, we are classy and celebrated our engagement at a hole in the wall Chinese restaurant!

After lunch at Wo Hop we walked around the corner to our favorite little bakery in Little Italy and got a few rainbow cookies (my fav!)

After our day out in the rain we went back to the hotel, rested, and got ready for the Rockettes!

Our hotel was with in walking distance of Radio City so I took some pictures of the sights along the way...

The inside of Radio City was just beautiful!

And the Rockettes were fantastic!

We walked around a little bit more after the show...

and saw some sports guys reporting life for SNY...

And then had dinner at one of our favorites, Carnegie Deli!

Stay tuned for our 2nd day in NYC...

I love NYC! I'm only 2 hours away so I go up a few times a year, and I know a lot of the places you visited. It's such a great city, and I'm glad you had such a good time! :)

Girl, we ate dinner right after getting engaged at some greasy hole in the wall Mexican food place. It didn't so much matter though because I didn't eat a single bite I was so excited/anxious/every other crazy feeling in the book.

Congrats again! Looks like yall had an awesome time! NY at Christmas time is on my bucket list for sure!

Y'all must have been there 2 weeks after us. We were there the weekend of December 10th (I think). It was a zoo, crowds everywhere!
