Oh Christmas Tree...

I'm gonna be honest y'all.

I'm in love with our Christmas Tree.

I wasn't in love with it at first though.

Remember how it looked like this last week?

Well, this weekend we got some more lights to fill in the middle section and I actually took off ALL the ornaments and put them back on because I wasn't crazy about how it looked the first time. There were a lot of holes.

And finally, I can show y'all the finished product...

Yes, it's leaning a little bit. I can not for the life of me get it to stand up straight.

We're gonna buy a new tree after Christmas on sale since this now has non functioning lights and is crooked.

BUT, I love all of my ornaments, bows and decorations and want to show y'all the pretty details!

{I spy Nutcracker Market ornaments!}

{My favorite little raindeer from Pier1}

{Ornament I stole during an ornament exchange last week}

{gotta include the Texas Tech!}

I made these bows last year and just saved them. They are very far from perfect and you really can't see who bad they look unless you are up close. From far away, they make the tree pop.

{store bought bows}

So, whatcha think?

Does your tree have a "theme"?

So pretty Sav!!!! I love it! Now, come over and decorate mine. It is still without ornaments. Just lights. Maybe I'll leave it that way! Haha!

SO prittayyyyy!!! (Well-except for the Tech ornament but I'm gonna pretend I didn't see that pic) LOVE how there's just SO much stuff on it!! (Although it makes me feel a little ADD trying to look at each and every little detail-maybe that's just me lol...)

Oh-and ours leans too...forward. I can't figure it out either so it's staying that way.

My mom got a GORGEOUS pre-lit tree from Dillard's last year after Christmas for el-cheapo. When I say gorgeous I mean she has 4 artificial trees and this one is BY FAR the prettiest!!!

What I'm trying to say in all this mumble jumble is that I love your tree!! xoxo

Come make my tree as pretty as yours??

I love your tree too! Growing up I hated my families tree, it was filled with ordaments from the past years. I always wished we got new ordaments each year, have a theme colour. But now I love mine :)

SO cute!! Love all of the fun, eclectic, and special ornaments that you have. If the tree is leaning... just tilt the camera a little too, right?? ;-D

So pretty! Your tree just looks so cheery. :) We don't have a theme. We use our ornaments that we were given growing up and then we have new ones that we've bought! Anything goes!

I am in love with your tree! That's totally how I'd do mine if I had way more ornaments. haha Mine's red, silver and lime green with all kinds of funky ornaments... and uh, mine started leaning this year too! lol.

CUTE!!!!! I love your tree so much!!! I understand the pain of a pre-lit tree that has lights out :( I have two strands of lights on our pre-lit this year. Annoying!! I'm hoping to buy a new one after Christmas to replace it. Only thing is, I also want to buy another tree as our fun/family/eclectic tree since next year we'll be a family of three and I know moving forward that I'll want a tree especially for homemade ornaments and multicolored lights and all the fun quirky stuff that I don't want on my themed trees. Soooooo I don't know what I'll do. Buy two new trees? Brandon might kill me :) Anyway, your tree looks so awesome!!

I love it! I gotta admit I'm jealous! My tree is only one small step up from a Charlie Brown Christmas tree and It makes me a little bit sad haha ... but it is M & my first tree together so I love it for sentimental reasons .... yours is GORGEOUS and now I have inspiration for my next year tree hahahaha :)

Looooove it! Our big tree is transitioning into being an all silver/white blingy tree for next year and I love it, and our smaller tree will have all our fun ornaments = )

Love your tree especially the ornaments from Pier 1. We have a themed tree in our son's room, snowmen and santa's...plus a mischevous elf. I love color so all my trees are decked out in color. New follower.

I'm laughing because you say you stole an ornament at an ornament exchange!

I never have a theme for my tree, unless you call putting every ornament I own on it a theme. Your tree is very busy. Mine looks a little sparse!

the first year I had a tree, I made bows and put them here and there, but over time, I kind of stopped using them. And I never have a garland. I didn't want the silver tinsely garlands that my mother uses, so I thought I could use strings of beads. BUt that didn't really work, either.

Mine's really pretty when it's lit at night, but kind of blah during the day. I have a picture on my blog but it's not doing it any kind of justice.
