Remember how I told y'all I saw NKOTBSB on Saturday? Well I'm finally getting to posting the pictures!

I did a MAJOR fail and didn't take any pictures of me and my friends. I was too obsessed with getting pics of the sexy men that were up dancing on the stage! ;)

This was THE.BEST. concert I have ever been to. I was excited to go, but I really didn't think it would be THAT fun. Boy was I surprised. If you have the chance to see them in concert, you must go! It was so fun to see 2 different generations of women in a room still screaming, crying, and wanting to touch these men that we loved from our tweens. I stood up almost the entire concert singing and dancing and reminiscing on the middle school days when these boys were popular.

It was a great night!!

Thank You's and Pinteresting Wednesday!

Before I start on this weeks "Pinteresting Wednesday" post, I just want to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who left me sweet comments on this post last week. I am so glad that I posted that even though I wasn't sure I should. I found so many more people who are dealing with the same thing I am and it was nice to discuss everything with them. And it really meant a lot that all of you are thinking about me and praying for me.

Also a big thank you to everyone who left me comments about Cotton on Monday! Turns out, he is not as well as we thought. He had to go back to the vet yesterday and we found out he has some fluid in his lungs and an enlarged heart. He was diagnosed with Feline Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy. He started on Lasix yesterday and the symptoms should be cleared up within a couple of days and if they aren't, we'll have to see a cardiologist for further testing. Kitty prayers are appreciated! :)

nothing. Everything I've done has had a purpose and made me who I am today.

my boyfriend, my furbabies, and my family more than anything in this world!

thought I'd be where I am not at almost 28 years old.

all the time to be with my family.

talk to my furbabies like they are people.

get up in the middle of the night to pee.

good at painting my own nails. I suck at it actually.

clean. If you showed up to my house 9 times out of 10, my house would be dirty, the beds wouldn't be made, there would be dishes in the sink, and mail scattered on the coffee table.

everything that's not attached to me.

about my current career path.

an extra paycheck this month just to pay for Cotton's emergency vet visit.

get a gym membership, at least for the summer.

1. We had to take Cotton to the emergency vet Wednesday night. He threw up about 9 times from 5:15 till about 7. Luckily he was fine (after a possible surgery scare) and he just had to stay overnight for some IV fluids for dehydration.

2. I got a hair cut on Friday and I'm not sure I like it. I like the length, but I'm not digging the bangs. It definitely wasn't what I had in mind. It's just going to take me awhile to get used to them I think!

3. I said the "secret word" at Sprinkles and got to try their new Lemon Blueberry cupcake. It was delish! I also got me a key lime and John a dark chocolate and a vanilla with chocolate icing :-P

4. This is how I spent the day Saturday...

5. Saturday night I got to see NKOTBSB in concert and it was freaking fantastic!! It was by far the best concert I have ever been to! A separate post with LOTS of pictures to come on that!

6. Lucy was sleeping all day yesterday... Everytime I looked at her she was asleep in a different position.

What a life huh?

7. Speaking of Lucy, she needs a  new momma and daddy! You can see her adoption information here!

Breaking the Ice

1) Tell one thing not many people know about you.

This is something probably no one in the blogging world knows about me... 

I have a pretty big scar on the top of my left hand. When I was 9 months old the hot iron fell on my hand and put a pretty big 3rd degree burn on it! Of course 27 years ago they didn't have all the resources they have now so they didn't do a skin graft (thank God it didn't get infected) and let it heal on it's own. This is a pic I have from Cancun last year when I was really sunburned. The burn doesn't ever get sunburned. 

2) If you HAD to change your first name, what would you change it to?

Well, I know I'm not answering the question here, but I honestly never wanted to change my name. I love my name. I love that it's different. When I was younger though I wish my mom would have spelled it Savannah - people still misspell it all the time. 

3) What are your 3 favorite songs of the moment?

I don't have a 'hidden' talent per say. I played the clarinet in high school so I can do that and I can sorta play the piano.

What Savanah's Listening To...

Me and my girlfriends are going to the NKOTBSB concert on Saturday!! I CAN.NOT.WAIT! Back to our tweens we go!!

A Few Funnies

Me and John have a very 'funny' relationship. We're seriously laughing all the time. I'm laughing at him because he really is a very funny guy or he's laughing at me because I just do something or say something stupid.

So, Saturday we were driving down the road and there was this awful smell. Here is our conversation...

Me: Pewwwww weeeee, what is that smell? Did you fart?

John: NO! And I don't smell anything! 

Silence....

John: Oh I smell it now. Smells like Up Dog

Me: What's up dog? 

John: Not much, what's up with you? 

Yes, we really had that conversation driving down the road and no, when he said 'up dog' I had no idea what he was about to pull. Jokes on me huh?

 No, Savanah does not wear WHORE shorts! I very rarely even wear shorts! HA

Target Tuesday!

Happy Tuesday y'all! I took a couple of weeks off of doing Target Tuesday, but I'm back and linking up with Tara again! 

Over the weekend I went shopping with John's sister who is going off to college this fall. She wanted me to help her pick out stuff for her dorm. It inspired me and kind of made me wish I could do it over again. Then I slapped myself and remembered the awful days of the community bathrooms... anyway....

So, I'm going a little bit of a different route today and showing y'all what I would pick if I were going back to college and living in the dorms again!

Of course you have to have some cute bedding... I'm all for the black and hot pink (and zebra!)

It's reversible!

Then you need some cute dishes...

 

And a comfy chair to do your studying (or watch TV)

And a desk lamp...

And of course a matching rug to cover up those yucky floors

 I wish they would have had these last 2 things when I was in college... 

The new 'shower caddy' for the community bathrooms

 And a bed caddy for those bunk beds!
