Yes, I am FINALLY getting around to posting about our trip to Ft. Worth over the Christmas Holidays...
We got back from NY the day after Christmas were home for 2 days then left again to go to Ft. Worth to celebrate Christmas with my family.
On Friday we all went to ICE at the Gaylord in Grapevine.
This is one of the coolest (no pun intended) things and if you are ever by a Gaylord you should check it out! You they bring in ice carvers from China and they spend weeks preparing all of the ice sculptures.
You get to bundle up in a big blue parka and walk in to this tent that is kept at 9 degrees. People's cameras even freeze up it's so cold!
Everything is made of ICE!
Guess who met us there!! Jenn came to see me!
It was a lot of fun and I'm so glad I got to see Jenn while I was there too!
Jenn also bought John and I our very first R ornament for our engagement while we were there!
Thanks Jenn!
Have y'all ever been ICE before??

I'd never heard of this before this year & now I've seen several people go- it looks fun, will have to put it on my schedule for next winter!
How cool is that?? I've never been! I'd like to go see something like that! And I love that ornament Jenn gave you! Super cute!!!
looks like so much fun! road trip next year!!!
Donny and I talked about going, but we didn't actually make it while I was there in December. But it looks SO FUN!! The Gaylord is unbelievably gorgeous!
That is awesome! I love things like that where it's all made out of ice. Fascinating!
Love that ornament too! How sweet of Jenn!
That is amazing how they can make things like that out of ice! Love the ornament Jenn got you!
That is amazing! Is it just at Christmastime? I wanna go!!!
Thanks for inviting me!! It was fun but oh so cold!!!
FUN!! I think my best friend who lives in Dallas has been down there to see that (I remember seeing her in the blue parkas ;-)) Is it BUSY?? Minneapolis has a nightly event like this up on the top floor of Macy's downtown-- it's Santa's Workshop and you walk through and see all sorts of displays. It's SO cute but UNGODLY busy. Horrible!! :-P
Is it bad that when reading the title of this post I immediately respond, "Word to your mother!" :)
This looks so cool (literally!)
aw yay! LOVE ICE!
I was to one at Gaylord in Orlando and I agree that is it awesome.
