Charleston: Day 3 & 4

{see day 1 here and day 2 here}

The 3rd and 4th day in Charleston were mainly spent relaxing on the beach!

Sunday, we planned on spending the whole day on Sullivan's Island. The weather ended up being cloudy but it wasn't raining, so we went ahead and went out there anyway. Even though the sun wasn't out, it was still gorgeous and so relaxing. Stupid me also didn't put on sunscreen because I thought I wouldn't get burned, but as you can see, I was wrong! haha

We got hungry so we decided to walk to Poe's

It started sprinkling while we were eating lunch so we decided to go back to Megan's, get ready and then go downtown for a carriage tour. We bought our tickets for the carriage tour, but had to wait awhile to actually get on one so we went to the Market Pavilion Hotel's rooftop bar

Then it was time for the Carriage Tour...
I really enjoyed this. I felt like I learned a lot about the city and it's history!

My last day there, we decided to go back to the beach! Instead this time we went to Folly Beach

Again, beautiful beach and relaxing day!

Then it was time to go to the airport :( My flight was delayed an hour so I just made myself comfortable! :)

Thanks Megan for showing me a fun time in Charleston!!!

Charleston is one of my absolute favorite places to visit. We were just there at the end of May and did the carriage rides again. So lovely!

Ah I loved all your Chas pics! I miss it there! So glad you got to experience Poohan's, Poe's, and Red's! And the beaches, of course. And the gorgeous historical homes/buildings.
Can't wait to get back for a visit one day!
