Wedding Wednesday - Honeymoon Wear
In honor of my boobs being smaller (yay!!) I wanted to dedicate this Wedding Wednesday post to the stuff I FINALLY get to wear on our vacation!!!
I've always had to wear "grannie swimsuits". I only found one brand that actually fit my decently. I could buy it in bra sizes and it had a built in bra in it basically.
I am SO excited that I don't have to stick with those anymore. I've always wanted to be able to wear a white swimsuit in honor of being the bride and now I think I might be able to! I still don't plan on wearing a bikini, but I am going to have a lot more freedom when it comes to finding 1 pieces or tankinis!
Here some that I've found that I can't wait to order to try out!
I'd love to find a strapless swimsuit to wear on the beach the days before the wedding in order to eliminate tan lines! Now, this is doable! I would have never been able to wear a strapless swimsuit before surgery and now I'm really hoping I can!
Something else I'm actually looking forward to now....
The Lingerie Shower!!
I was dreading this before surgery. I mean really, big boobies just don't mesh well with sexy lingerie. And what size would I put on the invitation??? 34H? I think not! My mom/sister were going to get creative and have a "panty party" where I could just get panties, but now I can actually have lingerie!!!!!
I know John is excited about that part ;)
My mom and sister are planning a fabulous lingerie shower/bachelorette party and pink and zebra just might be involved. ;) And hopefully the 34 C will be my size on the invite!! :)
Wish me luck as I go try on swimsuits and bras for the first time in the coming weeks!

Bye Bye Boobies!
Well, todays the day y'all!!
I'm excited, scared, nervous, happy....
A huge ball of emotions.
I know this day is going to change my life.
So, if y'all pray, please say a little prayer for me as I go under the knife today.
And if you don't pray, some positive thoughts are greatly appreciated!
I'll try to update the blog through the week but if not, make sure to follow me on twitter, Facebook, or instagram for updates. I'll tell John to make sure to post there in the event that I can't for some reason.

Summer Vacation: Gulf Shores (Part 2)

Tuesday it was forcasted to rain so we planned on going to the outlet mall. The weather man was right so when we woke up we got ready and drove to Foley where the outlet mall is. We both got some new kicks and some new clothes. We ate dinner at Mellow Mushroom afterwards.
And since we don't have a Krispy Kreme at home...
When we got back to the condo, it was right at sunset so we decided to go walk on the beach and take some pics
Wednesday was beautiful. We stayed at the beach the whole day.
For dinner, we went back to Foley and ate at Lamberts, home of the 'throwed rolls'. Yup, if you want a roll, you have to catch it!
Thursday we were outside literally less than an hour then the sky filled up with clouds and the sky poured again. I always had to remind myself that a rainy day at the beach is better than a rainy day at work! It was really nice just to sit on the balcony and just watch the rain.
It cleared up and we went to The Wharf in Orange Beach for dinner.
This was our view at Dinner at Baumhowers.
We walked around and did some shopping. I found my heaven... a Vera Bradley store ;)
We played mini golf after dinner.
John made me take a picture of the score card since he won ;)
Friday we got up early and went down to the beach for a couple of hours then it was time to say "Bye" to Gulf Shores!
We had so much fun and it was really nice to get away for 8 days!
Next stop: Mexico!!

Summer Vacation: Gulf Shores (Part 1)
Finally getting our Gulf Shores pictures up!
After we left New Orleans Saturday afternoon, we drove into Alabama, stopped at WalMart for groceries and the necessities for the week, then made it to Gulf Shores to our Condo.
We knew we were in a high-rise across the street from the beach but we were still pleasantly surprised when we opened the door to our condo!
We just spent the evening watching the Olympics and John decided to take shots ;)
Sunday morning we woke up and it was SO nice to have this view... The first picture is from me sitting on the couch!
We spent the whole day at the beach...
After our day at the beach, we went back up to the condo, had some adult refreshments, then got ready for dinner at LuLu's
LuLu's was definitely a tourist trap, but I really enjoyed my food. And John and I STILL talk about the Krispy Kreme bread pudding we indulged in there. Yes, you read that right. Krispy Kreme bread pudding....
Monday we planned on doing the same thing - sitting at the beach all day, but unfortunately it started raining after a couple of hours. We did enjoy some time in the sun before it started storming. We even witnessed someone having to get rescued because of the current. After it started raining we went back up to the condo and sat on the balcony just watching the rain.
We picked up dinner at the Shrimp Basket and parked ourselves on the couch with some sweet tea vodka and the olympics for the rest of the evening!
