Cancun: Day 3 and 4

Saturday was rehearsal day! We ate breakfast with everyone in the buffet and then went over to the wedding gazebo to meet Lorena (the wedding coordinator) at 10am. As you can see it wasn't anything formal since we're all in our swimsuits ;) It went really quickly and everyone got their instructions and then it was time for relaxation the rest of the day!

After the rehearsal we went and ate lunch at the barefoot grill. All the food was really good at the resort. Even at this grill by the pool! They had pizza and mini burgers every day plus some other specialty food.

{I walked away from my food to talk to someone and a seagull swooped down and stole my hamburger bun. Of course I had to take a picture of the aftermath!}

After lunch, we went kayaking and then made ourselves comfortable on the beach for awhile before it was time to get ready for dinner!

Saturday night, we scheduled a "welcome party" in the Lobby Bar so everyone could get together and officially meet. Our families had never met before so I thought this was a good way to get everyone together in one spot at the resort. It didn't really go like I had planned and didn't last very long because everyone decided to go eat dinner, but oh well. There's not many pictures from this night because my camera died. I stole one from Emily :) John and I ended up eating dinner with my family and our friends again in the Italian restaurant. Again, very good food! And I tried veal for the first time. Yummy!

Sunday I think was the most fun day of the whole trip (besides the wedding of course!) John and I went to breakfast by ourselves and then almost everyone ended up in the pool together. We all spent a little too much time at the swim up bar... ha! I'm so glad we bought a waterproof case for the camera so I could capture all the fun we had!! Celie ended up being cut off by the bartender (you know it's bad if you get cut off in Mexico!) and I ended up falling down walking to go eat lunch! HA!!

After we spent all day in the pool John and I got out around 5 to go make reservations at the Japanese restaurant so we could sit at the Hibachi tables. We got back to our room and there were flowers in there along with another bottle of champagne! Then it was time for dinner at the Hibachi!

{they were a day early!}

After dinner we went up to to the lobby to hang out with John's family a little bit then the guys came back to our room to watch some football. John got all of his stuff together so he could sleep in his own room that night so we wouldn't see each other the next day before the wedding.

It was nice to have the night to myself to finish his card and the card I wrote to my mom and Tim and time to just sit and think about the next day. I was actually able to sleep well even though I was so excited for the next day :) The wedding day is coming up next!
