DIY Wedding Card Book

Linking up with Stephanie and Katie today!

I am not a card keeper at all. I just never have been and I know I will regret it one day. But with our engagement, shower, and wedding cards I knew I had to something clever with them because those COULD NOT go in the trash!

I found this pin awhile ago so I went back to it when I was looking for something to do with our cards

Then I saw this pin on Stephanie's blog with the twine instead of the metal hooks.

I had a lot of ribbon left over from the wedding and DIY stuff I did so I decided to use that instead of the twine and it would match our wedding colors too :)

So here is my final product...

I spent $0 on this project because I already had everything. Cut some cardboard from some wedding present boxes we had, I already had the ribbon, and just used colored pens to decorate the front. I could have gone all out on the front with modge podge or scrapbooking stuff, but this is going in a box in our closet so I didn't want to spend a lot of time or money it.

I'm very happy with how this turned out and I'm really glad that I found this great way to keep all of our cards together and to look back at for many years!

I needed this! I'm not a card keeper either, but I've kept all cards from our wedding and had no idea what to do with this. This is the perfect idea! Thank you!

I started this project about a year ago & never finished because the metal rings I had didn't fit all of our cards. I should try out some ribbon/twine.

Oh that is so cute and the perfect, organized way to keep those memories! I wish I had done this with cards in the past. I'm awful about throwing them away when I have no where to put them :(

I made this too! I felt this DIY was harder than it looked though because there are sooo many cards! Guess that's something to be happy about though, right?
