12/17/12: The Reception Details

Previous wedding picture posts:

I had seen pictures of the pool deck at Dreams before we decided to have our wedding here and this was one of the things that sold me. We actually picked our date based on the availability of this deck. I brought all the decorations with me so I knew what would be used to decorate, but seeing it all come together and all our personal touches nearly put me in shock. I didn't give many details about how I wanted things set up except a floral centerpiece, the pink lanterns and picture frames on each table and then go from there. The wedding staff at Dreams really blew me away with our reception.

Unfortunately mother nature had different plans for our reception and it poured down rain right in the middle which I was completely devastated over at first. I cried. But after seeing our pictures and how Anel got every single little thing on camera, I am relieved and still just in awe of how beautiful these pictures are.

These are the small details that we put in to the reception from the flowers, decorations, cake, napkins, etc.

{signs made by Jenn and you can order them from her Etsy shop, too!}

{I was so surprised when I saw they hung that R up! And yes, those are the cats!}

{engagement pictures and tealights on the dinner tables. We brought LED lights so the wind wouldn't blow them out and they added sand in the bottom for a little added element of the beach}

{this was a surprise too!}

{"guest book" print from this Etsy shop, who also did our Save the Dates! Met in Houston, Engaged in NYC and married in Cancun}

Please make sure to check out all of these Etsy shops I linked to! They all went above and beyond and I was truly thrilled with all of the products that we received!

And the party is coming up next!!

I'm not a huge fan of destination weddings, but yours is one of the most beautiful weddings I have ever seen, destination or not!
