The Birthday Boy

Yup, another weekend update coming at ya a whole week late! I just can't get it together!

So LAST weekend, we celebrated John's 29th Birthday! Saturday night we went out with friends to a local restaurant called Beavers. It was meh. But it was still a fun time!

{OOTN}

{family car ride ;)}

{cookies and cream cake}

{yup, I carry a wedding koozie in my purse! haha}

{our dinner}

Sunday evening we went to John's parents house for dinner and cake as well! John's mom's birthday was on the 19th so we celebrated both birthdays!

And in case you're wondering what I got John for his birthday...

He wanted a circular saw and a new cordless drill. I told him that's when you know you're getting old!! But he did put both things to VERY good use! He spent 2 days off before his birthday replacing all of our old yucky doors and door knobs in the house!

Doesn't it look pretty??

I hope you had a great birthday babe!

Looks like some great food and celebrations! I hate feeling old when I ask for practical gifts, but I guess that's part of growing up.
