So, I have really curly hair. It's always been a hassle for me leading me to blow dry and straighten my hair every day. My hair is weird and gets really curly up front but kind of frizzy in the back. So, I don't wear my hair curly very often unless I just am lazy. Well, this pin changed everything.
One big thing I was doing wrong that she specifically says not to do is don't comb through your hair. I would get out of the shower, towel dry my hair, then run a big toothed comb through it!
So after reading her blog, I went and bought some new products and tried it out. I didn't use the same brands she did and I also left out the leave in conditioner.
{This was after drying my hair with an old t-shirt instead of a towel and not running the comb through it. No product or anything. Already much curlier!}
{This was after applying product and getting about half way through blow drying with the diffuser.}
{And this is the finished product!}
{I have to pull my hair back on top just because it is SO curly up front and not in the back. I just use 2 bobby pins to create a poof and the hair falls down over the back so you can't tell it's not as curly}

{And I was blessed with not greasy hair so I can go quite awhile without washing it. This was the second day hair. I just re-wet enough to make it damp and re-blow dry with the diffuser to get the frizz out.}
I've been wearing my hair curly ever since then! I find that after I blow dry and straighten it takes me awhile to get the curls back and I don't want that to happen again. I think I've finally come to terms with the fact that I have curly hair and I should love it! :)
